Tianjin North Network News:At the beginning of this year, CNOOC Engineering contracted the construction of subsea pipe and cable for Qatar's offshore oil and gas project. On the 22nd, the processing of the first batch of domestic seamless steel pipes was completed and they were loaded and shipped.

Today, at the Nanjiang Wharf in Tianjin Binhai New Area, the first batch of seamless steel pipes was loaded onto ships.Willbe transported to Qatarand used for the laying of subsea pipelines in local oil fields. This batch of seamless steel pipes was produced by Tianjin Steel Pipe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., with a total amount of 19,600 tons. As a leading enterprise in marine equipment, at the beginning of this year, CNOOC Engineering contracted a $900 million marine oil and gas development project in Qatar's oil field, involving the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of 41 subsea pipelines and 9 subsea composite cables. This is also the largest order that CNOOC Engineering has contracted in the Middle East. Driving domestic suppliers to go overseas together, relying on the Tianjin Marine Equipment Industry Alliance, CNOOC Engineering has carried out joint research with domestic enterprises.

With this overseas project, CNOOC Engineering recommended several enterprises, including the steel pipe company, to enter the supplier list of foreign enterprises and realize the domestic substitution of products such as seamless steel pipes, elbows, and flanges.
